JD Group Size Up Gray and Sons for Multiple Fit-Outs

Having successfully won the competitive tender process to be the preferred supplier in full fit-out and refurbishment of the sports retail stores, the Gray & Sons team set to work with stripping out the existing shops and installing a full fit out inclusive of M&E, Flooring, Tiling, Paint & decorating along with bespoke joinery items in each.

Unlike similar chains where each store is a direct replica of the next, Size? wanted to do something a little different, so, whilst the mainframe is like all the others, each individual store boasts a theme that directly links the store to the area in which it’s found. Newcastle, for example, has a strong industrial heritage and therefore, nuts and bolts were the prominent theme. Glasgow centres around the theme of a cone – synonymous with the equestrian statue outside the store that is often the benefactor of street cones being bestowed upon its head by local students! Brighton, for quite obvious reasons has a prominent seaside theme running throughout.
