A Match to Remember
On Saturday, 2nd August, over 100 friends, family and supporters came together for something truly special, the first ever Isaac Teal Memorial Cup at Wheatley Hills RUFC.
Hosted by White Roses Charity Rugby as their debut match, it was a day packed with fun, laughter, and a whole lot of rugby. Isaac’s former teammates hit the pitch once more, playing in honour of his memory, and raising money for a cause close to all our hearts.
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that a whopping £4000 was raised, with every penny going to Weston Park Cancer Charity, which supported Isaac and his family during his illness.
To top it all off, we sealed the day with a brilliant 52 – 14 win!
This truly was a day to remember, for all the right reasons. A huge thank you from our MD, Lee Gray, Isaac’s former coach and part-founder of White Roses Charity Rugby, to everyone who took part and came along to support.
