Wrapping up an 18 month long project!

It’s been another busy month here at Gray & Sons, with a fresh wave of projects getting underway.

We’re delighted to share the successful handover of the Dale Care Home in Conisbrough, which has been an ongoing project for 18 months. Throughout this time, our team has made regular visits to the home, working closely with the management team. We’ve systematically replaced every single door on-site to ensure they meet the latest fire safety standards.

Replacing every door in a live care environment comes with its own unique challenges. Our team had to work around the daily routines of staff and residents, many of whom are vulnerable and require a quiet and stable environment. This meant tailoring our work to suit the setting, ensuring we had a careful and sensitive approach, to minimise any disruption and ensure resident safety at all times.

Seeing the project through to completion has been immensely rewarding. Not only have we improved the overall safety of the building, we have also played a small but important part in supporting the ongoing care of the residents by creating a safer, more compliant environment to be in.
